Wanting An Update On My Application – Who Can I Talk To About My DBS Check?
Once your application has been submitted, you can see what stage it is at through your Aaron’s Department Dashboard, Of course, this is only applicable if your DBS check has been done through us! If it hasn’t, you can check with your employer, as they will definitely have access to all the latest information.
Requesting a Reprint
If you need a reprint of your certificate, or want to check that one has been requested, you will need to call the DBS Office or speak to them on Live Chat. They can be reached on 03000 200 190, or 03000 200 191 for the Welsh language line.
Requesting An Escalation
If your DBS has been with the Local Police Force, at Stage 4, for 60 days, then you can request an Escalation. To do so, you can either ask your employer to get in touch with the Umbrella Body that processed your check, or ring the DBS directly. This can be done on 03000 200 190, or 03000 200 191 for the Welsh language line.

Is the criminal record spent or unspent? If spent, the employer should consider it to never have happened. If it is in a school, their main focus and concern will be about the Children’s Barred List.
